For some the term "breaks" can give an impression of classic live drums, but that is not the case with this pack. As the description states, drum machines played the main role in the creation of the drum loops, which mix live-sounding drum samples with drum machines and give the programmed loops a unique flavor.

The musical mood is fun and the sounds have a lot of warmth, and most of the loops have a mild reverb. The sample pack does a great job with having rolling rhythms that experiment with syncopation while being very danceable. In fact, the drum placement is arguably the sample pack's greatest strength. It is familar enough that you're not lost, yet different enough to be fresh. Simply put, there are plenty of very-usable rhythms that you haven't heard before.

Given the title, description, art, and demo song, I was hoping for explosions and sound effects, but the sirens, helicopters, and the gunshot that are featured in the demo are not a part of the actual sample pack. Also note that a folder of single drum hits is not part of the package either, this sample pack gives exactly what description advertises: 70 drum loops.

By having 70 unique loops of complete drum mixes, and no files with the drum elements split into separate tracks, the pack completely avoids having repetitive material. At the same time, some users may prefer to be able to remove some drum elements as an arrangement technique and will not be able to.

But if you're wanting to study some new ways of putting together drum loops, or if you prefer to build a track by dropping in a drum loop and going straight to the instruments, this pack is definitely worth a look. Most of the 70 loops are 2 to 4 bars and are heavily syncopated, crisp-sounding and original.
